Survivor Mode: Well, I am snowed in and I am definitely unprepared, even with about a weeks notice that there will be a stifling snow storm here in Atlanta, I am unprepared. I have just went into survivor mode.
I have no food, my body is weak. My dog has no food. I have just done surveillance in the kitchen and found that I have two cans of tuna, oatmeal, two chicken breasts, eggs, butter, grits, a couple pieces of perch fish, some pancake mix and syrup, basmati rice. How will we survive one day without being able to go to Publix? God help us all LOL
I have decided to blog about our journey, our quest to remain alive during this storm. I understand that one can live 3 days without food. I hope that Boopie and I can make it this one day.
Hour 1: Boopie and I are hungry. I made Boopie some scrambled eggs. I had to season it for him because he is not use to ungourmet food, I used Kosher salt and fine ground black pepper. At first he was thinking like where the "F" is the meat?!?!?!?!?!? Then his hunger pains overwhelmed him and he gobbled it down like it was the last supper. Little did he know, it just may be. I felt bad because he usually get ground turkey with his breakfast. I had no milk to add to the eggs, I hope he doesnt notice. He did. He began to growl at me, he was going into shock. That little poodle almost lost his damn mind. I see him looking at me, sizing me up, waiting for me to go to sleep so he can devour my bottom LOL
Hour 2: I made some chicken strips with one of the breasts that I had. Thank God I had some season all, flour, pepper, to season it with. I ate the strips with hot sauce, wondering when was I going to have my next meal.
